About The Event

Our first Folklore Friday of the Season starts with Women & Writing: The ordinary & sensational ladies from varied religious, social, and political backgrounds with just one thing in common; Preserving Delaware History. Antoinette Maccari-Klingsberg will be telling tales of the Women's Suffrage Movement and the not-so-discussed opposing viewpoints during these times. While these tales are great for all ages, young teenagers and adults will benefit the most from these stories.

(Topic may change as our presenters fine tune their programs for the evening).

Light refreshments, including water, soft drinks, snacks and bottled alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase. If you're looking to join us, please note that this is an OUTSIDE event (weather permitting) and we advise our guests to all dress accordingly. Our grounds are dimly lit and unlevel, so please take caution while walking around the site.  In the an event of severe inclement weather, we will most likely move the event indoors, in which we will notify guests who RSVP'd here, and on social media platforms.
