Events Manager

Job Description

Schedule:

  • 10 hours/week in office Monday-Friday 430p-630p

  • Five (5) additional flex hours for weekend or after hours appointments

Compensation:

  • $13/hr starting wage

Duties to Include:

  • Answering and returning phone messages

  • Tracking rental inquiries

  • Completing and booking rental contracts

  • Accepting payments and managing card invoices

  • Pre-event check ins with clients at both two (2) and four (4) weeks prior to events.

  • Scheduling of Event Supervisors

  • Filling in for events when no Event Supervisor is available -- Eligible for additional hours

  • Coordinate post-event checks and eligibility of refunds with Executive Director

  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

  • Prior work experience in a customer service position

  • Experience using computers and office software

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Able to project a professional image

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Bilingual Spanish speaking candidate preferred
