Work with a piece of history with fleeces from our Leicester Longwool sheep. These fleeces are unwashed, but lightly skirted. Upon washing, the locks are ivory in color, ~4+” in length with typical Leicester crimp and luster. The fleece is heavy, curly, soft handling, and lustrous with a spiral-tipped staple up to eight inches. Fleeces weigh from 5 to 15 pounds.
