Timeless Trades: Cross Stitch 101

Calling all basic stitchers! Starting on October 20th at 6:00 pm, join us for the first in our new Timeless Trades series of hands-on classes! This fall we'll be starting with courses that go back to the basics, with opportunities soon to "level up." All courses come with crafting kits and chances to hone in your skill with post-course help. Look for more courses and information to be released soon!

Have you been looking for a new hobby while we will go into being inside over the winter? Have you seen elaborate cross-stitch projects online and wonder how they do that? Now is your chance to learn the basics of cross stitch!

During the course, we will learn about the various tools, basic stitches, and an alternative (and we think easier) way to make this craft more fun. And because we love crafting history, we are also going to teach you where cross-stitch comes from and show you some cool examples from our collection!

Unlike others, this virtual course comes with a crafting kit that provides everything you need to get going on your new hobby (including an extra pattern for letters). Kits will be mailed to each registrant. We can not guarantee kits will arrive in time for anyone that registers after October 12th because of postal delays. Once you have registered, you will be sent the zoom information for the virtual course.
