About The Event

Gather around the bonfire with us, and be transported back in time through stories of folklore and history by our gifted storytellers. Each community, each state, are threads in the fabric that make up the history and legacy of our great nation.

Join us around the fire once more as we immerse ourselves in the history of the oft untold story of African settlers in New Sweden. For this evening we are happy to host Dr. Abdullah Muhammad as he recounts stories from his recent best selling book: "Africans in New Sweden". Those that wish to purchase Dr. Muhammad's brilliant work, we will have his book "Africans in New Sweden" available for purchase at a special event discount.

The program begins at 7 pm and lasts approximately one hour.
